Upon successful self-registration (after confirmation link), my users are re-directed to [sitename]/forums/members, which produces an error notice.

    I don’t have a /forums/members template page. Or maybe I do?

Any idea why this is happening, or why I get an error?

    Thanks.

Hmmm.  I think it was related to the fact that I had registered with Safari, then when the activation link was clicked, it used FF.

I pasted the activation link into Safari and had no problem. I think it’s ok.

    Thanks.

That sounds a little odd.  If you want us to do a little testing for you, say the word- and point us to a page for some test registering.

And if you’re totally sure it’s solid?  Nevermind 😉.

    Thanks Robin,

though it’s not so odd given that FF is my default browser. When I click a link in Entourage, it opens that link with my default.

Unless you’re saying that it shouldn’t matter. I can PM you with the info.

Honestly?  If I understand correctly, it shouldn’t matter.  I surf the forums in FF- so I register in FF for a lot of test accounts.  But I keep gmail open in IE- and whether it’s IE or FF, link to confirm should be the same/work the same.

Now- some browsers may bork a link- in which case, no big.  But if you copy/paste the link in any broswer- should work.  If it’s not?  We might want to keep digging.  But I’m a little fuzzy on what’s up- so it’s possible all is well.
