We were able to resolve weird horked up links part I.

    http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/59602/

But now my path to my Gallery is not working.

The site is http://lionandlizard.com/index.php But it requires a sign on.

The url http://lionandlizard.com/expreng/ used to take me to my control panel.

the url http://lionandlizard.com/gallery/ used to take me to my gallery.

    Neither ware working now.

This is a sister site on the same hosting and in the same dir as miceland.

Thank you in advance for your help.

It is a text only version of my gallery. No skins no pictures. Any link that I click on is the same. text, no pictures.

Can you set up an account and email the details to me? I do *not* want control panel access, just the ability to see the gallery.  Thanks

If you try to view any of the images directly, or the CSS, you’ll find that you get a 403 forbidden. That is a server error and prevents anything from displaying that information.  You’ll need to get that fixed up for the display of images and CSS to be read and shown to the browser like normal.

    Like permissions?

403 forbidden can happen for a number of reasons, but since you can’t even visit the images directly, or view the CSS, the browser definitely can’t. You could try setting the permissions as that is one reason that it can happen; but I would look for any stray .htaccess files in there and, if permissions and removing of redirects/rewrites doesn’t fix it, ask the host about it.

The .htaccess file from miceland was affecting the site.  I’ve added an .htaccess file for lionandlizard to prevent that from happening.

There was also a configuration error in the gallery file - the path was from when lionandlizard was on it’s own account.

I fixed that to reflect the new status of lionandlizard as an add on domain

    All better.

Hee- you have the most intriguing domain names!  Glad you got it squared away.
