Hi, I am new to EE, and getting to know it step by step. Right now I try to get a photoblog up and running but from the documentation I cannot find out how to relate contents of a weblog with photo’s to the template/tags. So I can upload foto’s to a weblog but don’t know how to actually publish them on a website.
Does anyone have a template available which I can use to experiment with? Or a link to documentaion where it is explained?
    All help is appreciated?

    Best regards,
    Durk

Have you watched the brief video tutorials?  They will be helpful to you in understanding the relationship between URLs, templates, and weblogs.

yes I watched the toturials, and have a weblog running. The question is now how to integrate photo’s.

Are you using the file upload utility to place an image tag or at least the filename into a custom field that has a formatting type of “none”?  That’s the general idea for the most part: a custom field will output either the full image tag, or at least the filename, in which case the image tag would be in the template, and the custom field would just be providing the src= attribute information for the tag.

an image is uploaded with the “upload file” button below the Quick Save button in the panel.

The URL title after upload is: foto_titel_1_antares

the content of the body field is:

    /body
    Antares sensoren worden gedeployed.

    - - - - - - - i m a g e - - - - -
    https://ellislab.com/asset/images/team-photo/antares.jpg
    - - - - - - - END i m a g e - - - - -

    /body

You will probably want to use a separate custom field for your image(s).

Resolved. I saw what I did wrong ( put the photo_url in the body, but only access the summary in the template. )
    Thanks for your help Derek.
