Okay, I purchased and installed MSM.

I created a 2nd site (kozossegiportal.hu) and setup domain as the MSM doc wrote. The http://www.kozossegiportal.hu webpage appears properly. Finally!

Now I created a new forum board to this site and I set the Forum URL (http://www.kozossegiportal.hu/forums/) in the General Settings. It doesn’t working! Why?

In the preferences- you assigned the forum to the proper site- correct?  There’s a dropdown.  And for the forum trigger word- are you using ‘forum’?

Let’s see if it’s just a forum thing- do the regular templates show up fine under http://www.kozossegiportal.hu  ?  Edit one with a ‘Hello world’ message.  Is that part fine and it’s just a forum issue?

Ah- it’s an index.php issue- try it at http://www.kozossegiportal.hu/index.php/forums.  If you’re got things all set up in a subfolder?  You’ll need to add some htaccess there in order to ditch the index.php bit.  I’m betting you already do so on your main site?

Anyway- yep, you need index.php in your urls in order to show anything other than the main default page.  Or you need to use htaccess to ditch it.  Make sense?
