Ok, I looked and looked for this to no avail, but what’s the best EE way for me to share a privilege between member groups? So far I’ve been restricting access on a per member group basis. But what I’d like to do though is say for instance, I have someone from member group A who buys paid content and someone from member group B that also buys it.

What’s the best way? Could I create a separate group and have people from A and B belong to two of them? If I have to use a case-by-case basis, then what’s the best way to store a flag in EE with a particular user?

Sorry for the slew of questions, but I’m trying to de-n00b here. 😊 TIA

    Great question.

I was also wondering what the best way is to handle multiple member groups when member groups need to share privileges.

    We have:

    regular members
    official bloggers
    paid members

All of our “paid members” pay for access to paid content, hence the name, but I also want to give our official bloggers access to the paid content as well, but for free.

Can we assign the right to access the content to multiple groups?
