I’m running just your basic SCM setup and testing against the PayPal sandbox - I can make the purchase, but only occasionally does it show up as a purchased item. Is there a known issue that could cause this erratic behavior? Both buyer and seller are verified in paypal sandbox and the user is logged in to EE.

Hi, tcuster - have you set up the debugging information described in the documentation?  Is it outputting any information for you?

Also - are you testing with a verified buyer and seller?

other than the debug switch being set to true, I haven’t set up any further info. where can I find the debug info documentation?

Anyway, I may have found the issue - but maybe you can confirm it for me…

If an e-check is used for payment and shows as uncleared in paypal - will ipn send confirmation of payment to EE after the e-check has cleared or will it simply not show up at all in EE?

I’m actually not sure - that is something that Paypal would be able to answer, since EE is only the recipient of that information.  Does that make sense?

I would ask Paypal on that for sure, though.
