I’m in the process of setting up a private site for condo residents using EE.

In our pre-EE set up, a member of the association sends an email message to all condo residents.

I need to allow the association member to post a weblog entry in EE, and once posted, that entry would also be mailed to all condo residents. Is this possible?

Condo residents are entered into the system by an admin (myself at this point), and are never presented with an option to join a mailing list. And I don’t want them to have that option, as all residents need to be included in all mailings from the site.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is a “newsletter” extension by Paul Burdick - I don’t have the link right now, and it was only intended as an example of how one might accomplish this. I haven’t seen someone release a solution yet.  But you could certainly do this with a custom coded extension.
