Hello,

Seem to be having some problems installing EE here. I’ve installed it many times before with no problems, but this time when I click install on the wizard after filing out the form it just goes to a blank white screen.

I am using -

centOS: 5
PHP: 5.3.29
apache: 2.2
mySQL: 5.6

I checked the permissions, and even tried to run the wizard. When I try to run the wizard - I get the same scenario where I can fill in the information but when I click run it just goes to a blank white screen.

It kind of looks like the PHP just is not running in some way. I have found other forum posts online talking about this, but none of them seem to have any real resolve that I can find. Any help would be much appreciated as I have been attempting to fix this for a while now.

I would also like to add - I’ve tried on different servers now too, with different php versions ( to see if that was the issue maybe?) and nothing seems to work.

I think the biggest clue I have as to why is the fact that the the database type drop down has nothing inside of it when I try to run the setup wizard.

I setup xampp locally and ran apache and mySQL and it set up in seconds. This is very frustrating as I have just bought a commercial copy that I cannot use. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
