Hi EE Community,
So I’m building a job board platform for a client and they have requested the following:
Job seekers should be able to upload their resume file and then as they view different jobs that employers have posted, simply hit apply and have their resume be sent to the employer.
I’m trying to wrap my head around how to accomplish this in EE and was hoping for some thoughts and ideas please.
Here is where I’m at so far:
- have member registration and accounts be managed by Channel Entries (via plug-in/module) so that I can associate employers to the jobs they post and allow for job seekers to upload their resume to be associated to their account
- I was thinking of using Freeform Pro, but not sure how I would get it to grab the job seekers resume from their profile and email it to the specific employer
Or does anyone have other strategies for accomplishing this?
