Hi, I’ve been trying to create a 404 page by following the different guides — here on EllisLab support, and on the web — but none have resulted in anything other than web pages that either fail to load, or are blank.

My first act was to add…

    ErrorDocument 404 /url-to-error-page

... to .htaccess, like I would anywhere else, but ExpressionEngine has other ideas!

Does anyone have a step-by-step guide that worked for them, or perhaps some time to guide me through this?
