First only got white pages, thought something went wrong with upload. Uploaded again. White pages. Downloaded EE again. New Upload. White pages. Started saying naughty words to my wireless internet connection. Grabbed a cable. Downloaded again. Uploaded again. White pages.

    Turned on $debug = 1 in admin.php.

    Got:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or '$' in [path-to-ee]/system/EllisLab/ExpressionEngine/Core/Autoloader.php on line 46

    Any ideas?

Here’s my config. Running on Debian Lenny.

    PHP 5.2.6-1+lenny16 with Suhosin-Patch 0.9.6.2 (cli) (built: Feb 3 2012 08:19:55)
Copyright (c) 1997-2008 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v2.2.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2008 Zend Technologies

Is is the age of my configuration?

    Ah!

I googled around a bit. Found this:

    Answer: Too old PHP version.
