We’ve been running an expression engine site for about two years, but recently we’ve been noticing weird timeouts. What makes them weird is that the user is being thrown out of the control panel to the log in screen when idle (no triggers to cause a time out). This can occur as early as the first 5 minutes of being logged in.
Any ideas?
I’ve attempted to increase the timeout length variable but it has had no effect.
I plan to change the control panel session type to ‘cookies only’ from ‘Cookies and session ID’, but as I don’t fully understand the difference here, I thought I’d get some advice first.
