    Hi, all.

I’m fairly new to ExpressionEngine, and we use it at my office as the back-end of our company website.

I’ve encountered a couple of frustrating bugs, and I wondered if these are known, widespread and, most importantly, if solutions exist.

First of all, we’re using ExpressionEngine v2.6.1.

The first problem: I’ve noticed that some “articles” on which I’ve made extensive edits have inexplicably reverted back to older versions. This may have cost me many hours of work if it’s fairly widespread throughout our site, as I recently spent about a week editing the many articles on our site.

The second problem: ExpressionEngine also seems to arbitrarily delete spaces and breaks from the copy on occasion, which causes some words to combine, some lines and headings to combine with the previous paragraph etc. It seems to be more common where bolded text is concerned, but I have seen regular text affected. It will do this only occasionally after I have pressed “submit.”

Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can offer, and my sincere apologies if this information is detailed or available elsewhere (I did check to the best of my ability).

    Kind regards,

    Chris

The entries are reverting after being saved?

What field type are the copy issues showing up in (native Rich Text, WYGWAM etc)?

But overall you’re on an older version and the most logical first step would be to get EE and all installed 3rd party add-ons updated to the latest versions.
