I have a site and without any caching I get this performance:
    Memory Usage: 9,2 Mb
    Database Queries: 77

    Is it OK, to much?

    With Template caching I get:
    Memory Usage: 6 Mb
    Database Queries: 41

It really makes a difference but I wonder how you evaluate the time interval. Wich parameters I need to consider for the amount of minutes I choose?

Does the page load fast enough to suit you? 😉

There are no hard and fast rules with performance optimization - so much depends on server environment.

Generally a 10 minute cache is enough - the longer you cache, the more files get created on the server and you can cache your way to a lower site as the web server would take longer to find and load the cached file than rebuild the page.

    Thanks Boyink.
I work now local and it goes fast. I hoop it will be also fast on the server of the client.

It just that 9,2 Mb of Memory Usage sound very much for just 1 page.

Should be fine - assuming they’ve allotted a proper amount of memory to PHP on the server. You’re on the smaller/lighter end of EE-driven pages with those numbers.

    Not bad, thanks.
