Hello,

I got official reports that it’s not possible to migrate the now defunct Solspace Gallery Extended to anything else then Assets.

As this is less than optimal, can anyone chime in on the following suggestion:

Pardon me if this does not make sense but wouldn’t it be possible to install and configure Channel Images with custom fields that would match the fields in Gallery Extended and then migrate/create entries directly inside the MySQL database?

I think you should check with the DevDemon guys and see what they have to say. They are often very helpful!

I’ve been there, even if they’re really nice there’s not much they can do.
