I have implemented a new Expression Engine website which relies on utilising the built-in moblog module for posting entries automatically.

I have a single channel and one moblog setup which monitors a POP3 mailbox on my web server hosted by MediaTemple. I have an EE template setup to display the entries and a separate page which contains a single line of code to force a check of the moblog.

90% of the time this works beautifully and email containing a single image and plain text are processed successfully but in a few instances I get the following error below.

    base64 decoded.
    Error writing attachment
    Unable to parse email

When this error occurs for a single email any further emails are not processed so the only way I can resolve it is to delete the email and then reload the moblog check page.

Interestingly in some cases if I forward the offending email to the same mailbox and then delete the original email EE processes it successfully?

I’m running the latest version and build of EE (2.7.3 build 20131210).

I would very much appreciate any help with this to get the moblog working reliably.

    Thank you.
    Richard.
