Hi, I am looking at purchasing ExpressionEngine for my web site. I currently have a non-CMS web site. Can I install ExpressionEngine in a subfolder on my web server so I can go through tutorials, etc.? In other words, I don’t want it to be “live”; I just want to play with it. Thanks.

A licence allows you to run EE on a live site and have it running in a development/testing are as well.
