    I could really use some help on this.

    Not sure what I’ve missed, but I keep getting weird messages/errors while working in the control panel. I can’t submit/publish any entries without getting this message:

    {"message_failure":"The action you have requested is invalid."}

    I’m also getting strange messages from other areas of the control panel. All of these alerts/messages appear on an otherwise completely blank white page.

    {"message_success":"Field Group Created: ..."}
    "Logged out"
    {"base":"admin.php?S=a085… D=cp","messageType":"success","message":"You are now logged back in!"}

    Please help if you can. I think *think* I’ve double checked everything and I simply can not figure out what the heck is happening.

    I’ve also searched the forums and the web for an answer, but I haven’t found anything yet.

    Thanks in advance!

    Almost any button “Submit”, “Update”, that I press inside of the control panel, returns this message -

    {"message_failure":"The action you have requested is invalid."}

    To add to the confusion, if I remove the file upload field from the channel fields group, I can submit an entry, but I get this message on a completely blank page.

    {"message_success":"New Entry Submitted"}

    Problem Solved!

    For future EE’rs. Solved this problem by changing the PHP version on my server from 5.3.27 FastCGI to 5.3.27 CGI Stable.

    Whew.

    You really saved my life with this one! For anyone who ever sees messages after pretty much any submit that look like this > {"messageType":"foo"} - you need to make sure that you’re not using 5.3.27 FastCGI on your server. The site I’m building is on Mediatemple and this was the default when I created the domain. You must use 5.3.27 CGI Stable.

    Again, many thanks for this!
