I’m converting a Wordpress blog into my Expression Engine site. Getting the content over with titles etc. is pretty straightforward. I have a large number of images that are attached to the wordpress blog entries that I need to convert over.

How can I import a large numbers of images that are organized by year and month?

The file manager does not recognize sub folders.

    Thanks

I had to do the same thing for thousands of images for a newspaper site. The only answer I found was dumping all of the images from the months into a folder for that year, then doing a search and replace of the paths for the image tags in the entries.

That’s not a nice solution, I know, but it worked out OK, and it was quick.
