Greetings,
My super admin password is not functioning. The “reset email” password emailer doesn’t seem to working. It’s not sending me emails. I can only log in with a general member account.
I have access to the db via phpAdmin - I can see the row of exp_member rows etc . however, I’m unsure how to either:
a) edit the admin account’s password (I don’t understand about Salting and such) :: can I just delete the salt, and change the password?
b) or could I create another row and insert a new user in the db? Again, what do I do about the salt row
c) I can’t think of another way actually.
Any suggestions, solutions to getting my admin account password reset would be fantastic.
