    Hi all,

I’m trying to customize the edit member profile section and have hit a bit of a brick wall.

What I am trying to achieve is a ‘my account’ page displaying up to five different addresses for the member, where they can then edit or delete each address individually. I’ve ‘re-skinned’ the section with my site design but am struggling with the implementation of custom member fields.

I can display the addresses already input using the {exp:member:custom_profile_data} tag but I cannot then implement the update form in the way that I want. I cannot limit which custom profile fields to display in the profile update form (for example, by defining specific field IDs, or by just coding the input fields manually into the template). Whatever I try results in either nothing working at all or every single one of my custom member fields being shown in the form simultaneously.

I have to just add the caveat that I have < zero PHP knowledge, so I understand that I might be pushing the limits of what I can do ‘out of the box’ but it would be good to know if there if a solution to my problem, or at least if anyone knows of the best plugin to get the job done.

    Thanks in advance,

    Dave

Sounds like you should take a look at https://exp-resso.com/freemember.

I’ve used it before for frontend member management and it is fantastic.
