I just completed a fresh install of EE ver. 2.5.5 on my site which is hosted by Network Solutions.

I have attempted to rename the system directory and make the appropriate entries to the root folder index.php and admin.php files as you described in your post installation document.

When I try to login to the control panel with http://www.mysite.com/admin.php I get this:

Your system folder path does not appear to be set correctly. Please open the following file and correct this: admin.php

    If I go to http://www.mysite.com/renamedsystem/

I get a proper control panel login.

I have a second index.php in the renamed system directory, do I need to add the system path change to that one as well??

I have read other posts about file permissions - they are correct.

I also have a blank config.php file - also a question asked on other posts.

Seems like a fairly simple thing but I must be missing something.

    Any assistance will be appreciated
