Not sure why the pre-sales forum is archived (read-only) ... where should we drop pre-sales questions then ?
Anyhow , hoping someone can share some insights.
I’m looking for a robust system for the following webapp:
A webapp that enables multiple sorts of users (based on Active Directory roles) to login with an account and start creating “campaigns”. (some users will have access to functionalities A and B based on their role ... others will only have access to functionalities D and E
A “campaign” is a marketing campaign.
Each marketing campaigns will have many participants.
Participant data will be entered through an interface (firstname, lastname, address, telnr , ...)
An overview is available of each campaign.
Important: all database interactions (crud) will be performed through JSON/SOAP calls (webservices) , so no direct DB statements will have to be executed by the webapp.
This is only a short description of the webapp , but some of the most important features are listed.
Would someone please let their light shine on whether EE would be the right choice for such a project ... or should I revert to a Php Framework instead (like maybe CodeIgniter or Yii , ... )
Thank you
