Hi everyone,

I hope someone have answer for my q

I use image manipulation with crop option for e.g 200*300 when I upload a bigger image it’s work fine , but if I upload a smaller image e.g 100*200 , it stay as it .

How can I change this behavior to create a new image 200*300 with transparent background and the smaller image in the middel of it??????

please chack the attachment images to clear what I mean.

You’d probably need an addon such as http://www.causingeffect.com/software/expressionengine/ce-image that allows for varous image effects and filters. However you’d never know the sizes of the original so it may provide difficult.

Another way would be to apply a white background to the image container then center the image in that container…

I like work with EE , but I don’t like that even the principle codes of PHP (like loop or create a var ......) need an addon on EE.
