The website is mostly built and working, but there are a few things holding us up, and I’m not sure if it’s the Membrr subscription plugin’s fault, or just something that hasn’t been thought through well. The docs seem to suggest that what I’m trying to do is possible.
In short, we’ve had issues getting our templates setup correctly to show channel entries in a “My Account” area on the website front-end, but with input from Membrr. Right now, we have these channel entries in their account area showing fine, but haven’t been able to determine a way to loop through the entries and detect if payment has been made or not (ie., a subscription ID from membrr that associates/relates to a channel entry_id).
Basically, the visitor goes through this process:
- create account in ee
- activate account with link sent in email
- that takes them to “my account” area
- now they can add their first listing (ee stored in channel entry)
- they then pay for that subscription (stored in member)
What we cannot do is somehow relationally associate an {entry_id} to a subscription ID and status (ie., paid, not paid, cancelled, expired, etc). That’s our dilema.
This has been driving us nuts, and we’re really looking for someone that truly knows their ExpressionEngine stuff, but also has experience with Membrr as well. Message me if interested. We’re looking to move on this immediately, as this is the biggest single delay in launching this project for our client.
If the forums let you message me directly, that’s probably the best option to connect, otherwise post here and we can go from there. Thanks guys!
