Hi
We’ve got a EE installation (2.5.2) with MSM with an issue whereby when you try to login to the /system URL, once you put the username and password in, the login page just refreshes itself and doesn’t login.
I’ve sometimes cleared out the exp_security_hashes table as read on another forum, which most times clears the issue and lets us login (we being Super Admin)... However, we currently can’t even login..
Any ideas where to start looking ?

Not sure if the cause of your issue is the same as mine. I’ve had this “issue” for some time now, although i do not have MSM installed. The reason i get this is because FireFox did not like me being logged into different instances of EE at the same time.
We run a few EE installations, and if I’m logged into one I cannot log into the others and that’s the exact same symptom i get… the login just refreshes. This however has been fixed with the latest FireFox update.
Either way, if this isn’t a browser thing for you. It’s worth thinking that maybe there’s a session/cookie issue.

Thanks for response… in our case, that could be the reason - we build all our sites in EE and always logging into different CMS… Only issue is that our client only logs into theirs so not sure if this would be the reason
One thing i’ve done, and seems to work for now is ensure that only access the /system via the URL set in config.php rather than domainA.com/system and domainB/system which you can presently do via MSM…
Seems to have worked so far…
