So on the off chance someone else has seen this…

We’re using MSM to run 7 sites. Everything was working great until, it seems, a week or so ago.

Now 5 of them still work, but 2 don’t. If you try to log in you just get immediately redirected to the home page of the site. Even if you put random gibberish in the fields, same thing (rather than an error message saying your password doesn’t work).

I’m tried changing to sesssions only, cookies only, sessions and cookies. Tried turning off Secure Mode. Tried fiddling with the cookies settings.

These sites share one control panel and I can log into that and then switch over to the problem sites with no issues…

I’m compared the various index.php files and .htaccess files and they all look right. Y’know, each one has it’s correct individual settings where appropriate.

But users can’t seem to get logged in.

Has anyone seen anything like this?

SOLVED

We use SolSpace’s Static Page Caching module and someone cached the home page of the two problems sites, which is a big no-no. {/fistshakes and mutterings about how I TOLD them not to do that!!}

But at least it’s solved even though that was about that last place I looked.
