I have a simple checkbox custom field (several actually). I go to edit record, set the checkbox and submit ... but when I check the record the checkbox has not set. Something silly I am sure. Thanks for your help. Alex

It seems that checkboxes work as lists. I simply want a boolean checkbox in my record that I set when I publish or edit a record in the CP. Checked is true. Unchecked is false. Is this not simple? Do I have to put true and false labels and select accordingly?

Hi Alex,
Are you using Safecraker entry form? If so use the parameter preserve_checkboxes=“yes”.
