OK i am getting tired this, i don’t know what percentage of users are still on EE 1.xx but i for one still have clients using it and no i don’t have a spare day per site to update them to EE2 when there is no need to (system isn’t broken, don’t fix it!), i cant sell it to them if there is no real benefit.

    So please EllisLab:

Put the old ee 1.x forums back online and fix all the broken links from incoming from Google, addon developers, Devotee, my bookmarks etc..

Put the 1.x user docs back online and easy accessible for us to use (searchable etc)

Show a little respect to those who made EE what it is today.

My personal site is EE 2, but I still have a large client on EE 1. I too want the docs back. If I search for help, all the links pointing to docs related to my issue get redirected to EE 2 pages.

You can download an EE 1 user guide, but info is hard to find in the download. There is a search box in the downloaded EE 1 user guide that just runs a google site search based on EE’s “/legacy_docs/” section. A section they removed. If you click on the results you will be taken to EE 2 docs.

This is completely useless and unacceptable. EllisLab used to be a company that cared about its customers. I’m not sure what they care about now, but it isn’t helping the customers that have been paying their salaries for years.
