I’ve posted a few support requests to Pixel & Tonic with no response so I thought I would try the forum. Maybe they’re on vacation.

I have a Matrix field populated with all the cities in our state. When EE attempts to parse through the Matrix tag pair it limits the number of rows it returns. If I offset the starting row I can get entries further down in the list but I can only get part of the list. Seems to be some sort of overload control via EE or Matrix.

Anyone have any ideas?

No idea why it won’t return all but I found a work around:

{exp:channel:entries channel="cities" limit="1"}
{city_matrix limit="100"}{city}{/city_matrix}
{/exp:channel:entries}

{exp:channel:entries channel="cities" limit="1"}
{city_matrix offset="100" limit="100"}{city}{/city_matrix}
{/exp:channel:entries}

{exp:channel:entries channel="cities" limit="1"}
{city_matrix offset="200" limit="100"}{city}{/city_matrix}
{/exp:channel:entries}

{exp:channel:entries channel="cities" limit="1"}
{city_matrix offset="300" limit="100"}{city}{/city_matrix}
