Member Group Permissions not saving

I’m having a major problem in that now in that Member Group’s permissions become undone.

The best I can figure is I can go in to one group, make changes and save and that group will be updated. However, all my other groups that have access to the control panel have just the channels and modules I had assigned them reset to NO.

I go into the next group and assign channels and modules again and the previous group is now undone.

It appears to only affect the Channels and Modules assigned. Changing one member group resets all the others (so far not the Super Admin, though)

    Any ideas?

Yep, every time I save any Member Group settings, I can see that everything is cleared out and the exp_module_member_groups and exp_channel_member_groups tables are just reset with that single member group’s settings. Everything else is lost.

My temporary fix is to do manual inserts of the group IDs and channel/module IDs, but this is really annoying.

I can confirm this is happening. In my instance, I am using 2.5.3 with MSM.

Ah - thanks for the link, leeaston. I had searched the forums but didn’t find that thread.

    Hey Marc Miller,

Glad that Lee was able to help.

Is there anything else we can help with?

    Cheers,
