In my file manager I have an image manipulation width setting that is set for thumbnails to be 180px. For some reason the images for that manipulation size get sized to a width of 73px. The original images are well sized and also the images folder has the right permissions too.

I’ve tried to delete the image manipulation’s related folder and its been recreated but get the same results.

When I perform a file synchronization it says the images are sized properly.

Any ideas on this issue? Thanks in advance

Can you give me a bit more information?

What version of ExpressionEngine are you using? What other settings do you have on the image manipulation?

For instance, if you have an image that is 200px width (original) and you want to have a version of that image to use at 180px width - you would create a manipulation with the Resize Type set to contain, the width set to 180 and the height to 0.

That should create an image that is set to 180px wide with a height proportionate to that.
