Wow, that is really odd. Yeah, so my suggestion was bunk.
Looking at that error closer, I have a few ideas. I think it would be much quicker if I logged in and took a look and tried a few things.

hi shane, i appear to be having the same problem as described here. i’ve just upgraded from 2.0 to 2.5.3.

We are still working this case, but it looks like the upgrade did not go well. Can you confirm that your upgrade completed correctly?
