I have member prefs set to NOT allow members to set their own DST settings. I was under the impression that the master localization settings are handled by localization prefs in Control Panel but that doesn’t seem to be working. The master localization settings seem to be pulled from the Super Admin’s localization settings whether that user is logged in or not. Toggling the DST on/off in master localization settings does not change current time but toggling it in Super Admin account settings does. Whether Super Admin is logged in or not.

    Hello Jacob,

    Thank you for your question.

That is correct. The localization settings will be the SuperAdmin settings unless you let each member set their own.

Is there anything else I can help with?

    Cheers,

Where is that laid out in the docs because the last time I read them, it says that it will use the master localization settings if you do not allow member localization customization.

    Hi Jacob,

Yes, sorry, you are correct. The master config is the default.

I was thinking you had this overridden. My mistake for mis-reading.

Please be on the lookout for an email from EllisLab.

    Cheers,
