Hello, I am having the following error display at the top of the page when I log into the control panel.

    A PHP Error was encountered
    Severity: Warning
Message: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/xxxxxxx/public_html/index.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/xxxxxxxxx:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp)
    Filename: libraries/File_integrity.php
    Line Number: 95

    A PHP Error was encountered
    Severity: Warning
Message: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/system/codeigniter/system/core/Exceptions.php:170)
    Filename: core/Common.php
    Line Number: 412

I had an installation of ExpressionEngine on one site and I migrated the entire site to a new domain/site. I updated the EE license and the licenses for modules I had purchased. However, I am still getting that error when I log in. It goes away when I click on any of the links.

What can I do to completely remove this?

    Thanks!

    Michael

    Hey there capstonedesigngroup,

Thank you for posting your question.

Have your new hosting provider disable open_basedir. The error will go away.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

    Cheers,
