    This question is related to a resolved thread.

    Hi there,

    I have manage to schedule automatic sending of emails with template content. with Cron Send Email and a cron job on the server.

    My question now is: Can I make it send emails with HTML tags, like a real html-mail? How would it be done?
    I can only make it send emails as rich text. If I add any html, it is parsed as text in the email.

    Thanks in advance!

    Is there a way to set the content-type of the cron email, for example?

    Hey there Visualis,

    Thank you for your question.

    I am not aware of a way to set the content type. That Add-On is rather limited.

    Is there anything else I can help with?

    Cheers,

    Thank you for you reply, Shane. I think I will have to find someone who can help me create the add-on I need then 😊

    Update:
    Actually a programmer at the office managed to get the plugin to send html content by adding this on line 123:

    $this->EE->email->mailtype = 'html';

    in the Cron Email add-on 😊 Problem solved. Just thought someone finding this thread in the future would like to know.
