    Hi Support
I have moved a site (EE 2.5.2) to a new hosting environment and I can’t submit a new entry. Which means I can’t add new entries under any channel.

This error is displaying within entries “CROSSDOMAIN: The current domain does not mach the ACT URL domain. Upload may fail due crossdomain restrictions. (esvc000609.wic055u.server-web.com vs )”

I also can’t add images using Channel Images   (5.2.4).

Can anyone help with this please?

have you changed the URL & server path of your upload directory in “Content   >  File Manager >  File Upload Preferences” ?

    Hi Jan
Yes we have checked the file upload preferences.
NOTE: the site has been moved from a UNIX development server to a Windows hosting server.

We have edited the paths e:\inetpub\esvc000609\pdfs\

    and the databse.php
    $db[‘expressionengine’][‘cachedir’] = “e:\inetpub\esvc000609\system\expressionengine\cache\db_cache”;

However the database does not appear to be saving.
The permissions on the hosting server are directory: 666 and files 666
    Thanks for your help
    Regard Cheryl

    Hi Cheryl -

Is this by chance a MSM site?

Also, not sure if you’ve used it before, but Deploy Helper is a fantastic tool for making sure your paths are updated.

    Hello Cheryl,

Todd is right, you are probably dealing with a path issue and Deploy Helper might help you find the right path.

You may need to work close with your hosting provider, slashes and paths are the most common tripping point when moving from Linux to Windows.

    Thank you,

    Thanks Guys
I have been been going round in circles. The database, config directory and config.ph are all writable so I will try Deeploy Helper once I have backed up of course.

    Hi Cheryl,

You will want to let your hosting service know that PHP Safe Mode is on. You want that off.

    Cheers,

    Hi Shane
Thanks but Safe Mode is OFF. I am running out of options. I am beginning to think I may have to just do a clean install in the Windows server and copy and past from my development server.
    What do yo think?
    Regards Cheryl

    Hi Cheryl,

I am not sure that would solve the issue. These are system errors that you are getting.

I am not sure where else to look for the Windows server. Is your hosting service able to help?

    Cheers,
