Is Structure still the best?

    Regarding Structure: http://buildwithstructure.com/

It’s been a bit since I worked with ExpressionEngine. My last EE project was about two years ago, and at the time Structure was the best option for giving clients a friendly, hierarchical view of their site that was easy to manage.

Is this still the best option when it comes to simple page and listing management in a friendly tree-like view? Are there other options out there that I might consider?

There is no competitor because Travis is a genius and remains 100% dedicated to support for Structure.  It has the advantage of an excellent community of users.  For a robust site, a really good caching add-on is important for Structure site speed. This is because of inherent limitations of the ee pages module, which needs to be further developed by Ellis.

The MAJOR complaint, is that inexplicably there is no developer video demo of how best to setup and use Structure - best practices. . . although this was promised for years and other top ee addon developers provide excellent videos.  Not all users learn the same way and the written documentation fails many new users unnecessarily. . .both many who end up not buying the add-on and many who buy the add-on but then put it aside.

Thanks for the great response! My main concern was support and maintenance. The site looks exactly the same as it did a couple of years back, so I was concerned the product had grown stale. Usually I can check on updates and development if there is a Git account, but looking through the changelog I can see that development is still pretty lively.
