    Hello,

When I view the Edit screen from the CP, Javascript is not working. I get no ajax, no menu drop-downs, ect. Paginatation give me a 404: http://domain/system/C=content_edit&tbl_offset=50

Throughout the rest of the CP everything is fine though.

When I inspect the page I get:

Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ILLEGAL index.php:24
Uncaught ReferenceError: EE is not defined index.php:230
    (anonymous function) index.php:230
Uncaught ReferenceError: EE is not defined index.php:152
    (anonymous function) index.php:152
    p jquery.js:43
    l.fireWith jquery.js:44
    b.extend.ready jquery.js:33
    k.addEventListener.A jquery.js:42

Just upgrade from 2.5.2 to 2.5.3 but still having this problem.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Hey there Matthew,

I am sorry to hear you are running into this problem.

I would check your themes folder. This is where the JS comes from for the Control Panel.

I would check the perms and I would also upload that folder via FTP again.

Please let me know how that goes.

    Cheers,

    Hi,

I’ve uploaded the themes folder. Javascript folder perms set to 755.

    Still having the issue.

Please note: It’s only happening on the ‘Edit Channel Entries’ page. Everywhere else in the CP is fine.

    Hey Matthew,

Wow, that is really odd. Yeah, so my suggestion was bunk.

Looking at that error closer, I have a few ideas. I think it would be much quicker if I logged in and took a look and tried a few things.

Please be on the lookout for an email from EllisLab.

    Cheers,
