I just installed Pages, having already built my site using Structure. I didn’t realize they use the same tables (exp_sites.site_pages). I was hoping to use Pages for a separate purpose (creating url alias)

At this point everything within Structure still seems to be working.  I have not edited any of my pages in Structure since the Pages install. I am worried about the ramifications (changes to exp_sites.site_pages?) , and I am abandoning using Pages. Can I uninstall it without affecting Structure?

I uninstalled Pages, but I commented out the removal of “site_pages” in the update script via http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/196498/

I think because no pages were updated the site_pages data was unaffected and still tied to Structure

Everything seems fine at the moment.
