    Hi all.

On a clients website I have user solspace user for all the registration and login forms.

On google my client has managed to get through to the default pages and is worried that these pages will be found by others. How can I hide these pages completely?

    Thank you

Have you re-set the member profile triggering word?

IIRC someone has figured out how to set that to include a time-value such that it’s constantly changing.

    Hey Chris,

You might also check out Fighting Registration Spam which has some good tips too.

The method that Mike mentioned above is good too.

Is there anything else I can help with?

    Cheers,

Hi. I have not changed the trigger pages, and I have read the page you have given Shane, but cant see how this helps me remove, or hide the pages. Could you provide some more information please?

    Hello Chris,

I am not sure what you mean, hide pages? Are you talkinga bout the use of robots.txt?

    Please let me know.

    Cheers,

Hi Shane. What I need is for the default pages to be hidden so they aren’t accessible. As I said in one of my earlier posts, I am using Solspaces User, so I need the users to go through these custom templates to register and edit their accounts.

How about a 404 in htaccess- or perhaps a 301 and redirect them to the User main page?
