I just upgraded to 2.5.3 from 2.2.  Had the typical issues (had to comment out several lines in the update files).
But now I have very strange problem.  My htaccess file has not changed, yet when I login to my control panel, the url is my websites url.
Let me explain:
My website should be: mydomain.com
My control panel should be: mydomain.com/mysys/index.php

But when I login to my cp or go to my website, I’m taken to the same url (mydomain.com/mysys/index.php) and its my cp, so my website is down!

Like I mentioned above, my htaccess file has not changed!  I know there’s a chance for operator error.  Is there a chance I did or did NOT replace a line in the admin.php or index.php?

Well, happy Monday. 😊

Sounds like you maybe swapped the index.php files around and now your main index.php file is point to the Control Panel. Can you double check that? It’s a pretty common one.’
