Channel Fields Not Showing Up

    I recently added a number of fields into a channel, but some aren’t showing up on the publish screen. Instead of an eyeball, they have the letters “Del.” If I click those letters, it goes to the closed eye, then the open eye, but the field never actually shows up on the publish screen (see attached). I’ve tried dragging the field name from the toolbar to a tab to get it to show up, but no dice. Thoughts?

    Hey areichert,

    I am sorry to hear you are running into this problem.

    That is really odd. What version of ExpressionEngine are you currently running?

    Are you using any Add-Ons in the Control Panel that change the themes?

    Did you recently upgrade? If so, you may want to upload the themes folder again to see if that corrects the issue. The CSS and JavaScripting are in that folder.

    Yes, odd indeed.

    I’m on 2.5.3. I did recently upgrade, but it was happening before the upgrade. I’m not using any add-ons that change the CP themes (that I know of).

    It actually works if I delete the field and then re-add it. There must have been some kind of error when adding the field the first time…

    Thanks. I’ll just delete and re-add. Appreciate the support though.
