Hi
I have been experimenting with importing over 5000 records into a channel entry. I have had to do this a number if times.
It means the first entry ID is like 15000
I know it probably does not matter that much, but I do like to be clean and tidy. I want to reset this back, I know how to do it in Phpmyadmin but wondered if anyone knows if any other tables will reference it. If its a couple of tables, fine, if its loads then it could be an issue!

Hi amityweb,
Everything start with exp_channel_titles - you can delete all of the entries in the Control Panel, then TRUNCATE exp_channel_titles and it will reset entry ID at 1.

thanks a lot I will give it a go (after a db backup of course!). I am up to about 30000 now! Although I dont think I need to import again after this.
