just to point that your (official) instructions to upgrade Forum, there is not a mention to upload the “forum themes”...

Are you referring to this guide?

Step 2 talks about uploading the forum folder to the right location, which includes the themes folder.

Would you like it to be made more clear? I can submit that request for you if you think it’s no clear.

yes, I am referring to that guide…

the “forum” folder goes to “system/expressionengine/modules/”...
and the “forum_themes” go to “themes/”... which is at the same level than “system”...

this last step is not mentioned…
