Hi

On the standalone registration form how do I change the Group they are assigned to, I cant find any info on that. Please do not offer Solpaces $99 add-on, thats overpriced to just assign a user a group.

In the meantime I have to keep everyone as Members and create a new field as a select list for the different types of members, so everyone are Members, but with a field to determine the member type, but thats not ideal, as different members will have different fields.

There isn’t actually support for a stand alone registration form in EE.  User is, as you said, the recommendation for that.  The other option might be Stand Alone Member Register.

Hi Lisa. If SA Member Register can do it great, thanks! To submit to groups, User is over the top.

I have just now decided though that we may be better off with a subscription system now (e.g. Membrr) so may use that instead.
