    Hi guys

I just updated a clients EE install to

    v2.5.3 - Build Date: 20120911

I can’t seem to upload PDF’s into the Rich Text Area.

I’m using the image upload icon, which works with other WYSIWIG editors and if I recall correctly, even the plain text area native to EE.

I’m getting the following code when I click on ‘view code’ to the right of the RTE…

    <figure>img src="http://www.mywebsite.com/themes/cp_global_images/default.png" alt="test"><figcaption>test</figcaption></figure>

I have tried a couple of different pdfs and doc files. No luck. Images upload fine.
    any help much appreciated

    Hi mattias78,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I’m able to reproduce this, so I filed the bug report here on your behalf. I’d recommend posting a comment there to keep tabs on the progress of that bug.
