    Hi Peeps,

    I’m hoping someone can shed some light on this. I’m working on a module that adds a tab on the content publish and edit screens. I’m having problems getting it to work on one of my EE 2.5.2 installs. It works on one EE 2.5.2 but not the other. The 2 installs are almost identical minus some modules/add-ons that one has and the other doesn’t. The module shows up in the list and I can install/un-install it with no errors. But just doesn’t show the tab in the content publish and edit screens. I’ve checked the folder permissions and everything looks exactly the same but yet it doesn’t show the tab. Any idea why it would work on one EE 2.5.2 but not the other? Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Mike

    I finally figured out the issue. For some reason the tab doesn’t show if I’m under super admin. But if I preview the channel entry using a different user group the tab shows up. Any idea why this might be and how I can get the tab to display under the super admin group? Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Mike

    I got it to work now. I was using the wrong module name here:

    $this->EE->layout->add_layout_tabs($this->tabs(), 'module_name');

    Now it works perfectly.
