Is there a way to have a super admin or administrator register a user from the control panel or front end without adding a password. Ideally I would like to have the “password reset notification template” sent to the user (shows them their username and password in the email). I’m using MX notify, but it doesn’t seem to give me this ability.

I need to have “self-activation required” turned on for the users who will sign themselves up.

Thank you for your question!

Requiring the password is a security feature and as far as I know, you cannot disable it. You can enable self activation, but the password will need to be created by the user as opposed to an Admin.
