    Hi there,

trying to troubleshoot some perfomance issues

I’m trying to figure out why a page just hangs for 30 seconds.

while template debugging says it’s loading faster.

    see the attached screenshots

other sites hosted on the same VPS box don’t experience any slowness

    thanks!

    Hi Flying Fish,

What you’ve got there is benchmarking, what we need to see is Template Debugging.

If you have both enabled, the debugging is further down the output. There you can see exactly how long each plugin and module take to execute.

Can I get a look at the debugging output?

    Thanks!

Sorry, I didn’t take a screen shot that far down. But as I recall the template debugging times, didn’t show any significant time different between two items. Nothing that would help me zero in on a tag or addon that was the culprit.

It’s almost as if the load time was before all the processing started. And now I’m having trouble replicating the issue. 😊

In the time between posts, I’ve had my host install memcached, and optimize the db with the hopes of speeding things up.

Slow performance can be so oddly intermittent and tricky to diagnose, sorry if I’m being frustrating.

    Flying Fish,

No frustration for me! It’s my pleasure to try an help!

After working with your host, are you still seeing the issue?

Is there anything else I can assist you with?

    Cheers,

Appreciate the help, I’m good for now!

I’ll keep an eye on it, and if I can ever reproduce a consistent slow load I’ll start a new thread.
